Temple for தமிழ்

Devotees of தமிழ் (Tamil) are getting ready to build a temple in honor of the language in southern Tamil Nadu, the Indian state. Here’s a little more about it:

It will have a hall for conducting Tamil discourses and debates, a library comprising famous Tamil books, a free Siddha medical centre and pillars in memory of famous Tamil writers and scholars…[and] the deity [“Mother Tamil”] would be propitiated not by regular pujas, but by rhythmic chanting of letters of the Tamil alphabet.

Kinda cool!
