Written By: daveski on October 29, 2007 No Comment

There’s a new listserv that has been set up for anyone who’s interested in the development and activities related to this blog-forum**.

Topics that might be discussed on the listserv include:

  • Developing areas of content
  • Discussion of the functionality and appearance of the site
  • How to define and present user identityDoing outreach/promotion
  • Planning offline meetings, e.g. participating in International Education Week activities planned for the week of Nov. 12
  • Creation of a “found in translation” student group
  • **What to call the darn thing: “Ecolog” is the term of the week

All are welcome to join the discussion—students in all programs and at all levels, lecturers, staff, etc. Already on the listserv are Rick Kern (BLC Director), Mark Kaiser (BLC Associate Director), Chris Palmatier (Dwinelle Computer Research Facility Manager and main tech developer for the blog, and myself (student at the Graduate School of Education and volunteer blogworker).

If you’re interested, you can subscribe to the list, called “fit” for “found in translation,” by sending mail to:

that contains:

in the body of the message. (Majordomo only looks at the body of a message and ignores any subject line.)
